Coming January 2027…

This is true: a fire has been raging underground for over six decades beneath the coal-mining town of Centralia, Pennsylvania. Our play is set in a fever dream vision of Centralia – a mostly abandoned town, a haunted place. There’s a strange wind blowing, there are voices in the walls, there’s a sinkhole out by the old highway, the carbon monoxide alarms never stop blaring.

The world premiere production will feature Obie Award winner Jan Leslie Harding (Deep Blue Sound), Obie Award winner Jess Barbagallo (The Trees), and Tom Mezger (The Voices in Your Head). Our design team includes Costume Designer Kindall Almond (Degenerates), Sound Designer Max Silverman (The Vicky Archives), and Lighting Designer Vittorio Orlando with further team members to be announced soon!
